Tomato Chutney

Ingredients

  • 4 medium tomatoes, chopped
  • ½ teaspoon chilli powder
  • ½ teaspoon cumin powder
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend into a smooth paste.

  • Pour the blended mixture into a small saucepan and simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the excess water evaporates and you have a thick chutney.

Serve

Serve with dhokla, muthia, or other savoury snacks.

Approximately 5-10 minutes, including preparation and cooking. Cooking time may vary with larger quantities.
